We could go on about aromas of tomatoes and lemons, or the fruitiness and pepperiness with notes of banana and nuts but we think it’s more important that you know we’ve worked with a great producer to create this Extra Virgin Olive Oil that’s perfect to use everyday.

Crafted from the fruit of 200 year old trees by our great friend Fernando Sanchez Mohino y Arias at Naturvie in Extremadura this oil is wonderful. Artisans like Fernando don’t come along very often and we’re mighty proud to work with him to create an oil this good. All you need to do now is enjoy the fruits of his labour.

In 1992, inspired by adventure (and as an alternative honeymoon), the owners and founders, Giles and Annie Henschel, spent a year journeying across the Mediterranean, North Africa and Middle East on two motorbikes collecting recipes everywhere they went from the farmers, growers and producers, they met along the way. Since then, we’ve been faithfully re-creating those recipes, and many more gathered over the years, using traditional methods and the most appropriate ingredients.
