Marinated in Extra Virgin Olive Oil: One of the first recipes we were given back in 1992. Found on a market in Ragusa, Sicily and then perfected by our fried Gaetano Amato in Monterosso Almo. The chilli infused Extra Virgin Olive Oil is excellent for a spicy dressing or frying eggs in for a weekend brunch… Ace.

In 1992, inspired by adventure (and as an alternative honeymoon), the owners and founders, Giles and Annie Henschel, spent a year journeying across the Mediterranean, North Africa and Middle East on two motorbikes collecting recipes everywhere they went from the farmers, growers and producers, they met along the way.
